Life Lately

First things first - I am officially on summer vacay! Words cannot describe the amount of relaxation that I felt today (Friday), as it was my first day of summer break! I am so relieved, and it just feels like an enormous amount of stress has been lifted! I am done with the dreaded Accounting cycle, and have a nice 3-month break before I dive head on into my final 20 credit quarter as a WCC Orca :)

Onto other things, my car is giving me some trouble. Earlier this week the lock broke on my drivers side door, so for 2 days I was climbing in and out through the passenger side, until Daddy Dearest saved me and fixed my door - he's my hero. Needless to say, it's time for a new car. This summer, my goal is to pay off all of my credit card debt (it's a big number...four figures - that's all I'll say), so that I can get myself into something a little newer and more reliable. Here's what I've got my eyes on...

It's a 2007 Ford Escape, and I LOVE it! It's a little pricey, but we will see what happens :) I'm looking for a small SUV that I can rely on in the horrific winter months (that was only half sarcastic, my car is a nightmare when the first snowflakes start to fall), and that I am comfortable and feel safe in. This car would be ideal, but like I said, we will see.

Next week, I start working full time again! Yayy!! I am very excited to be working full time and making some serious money so I can stop stressing about all my money problems! Who knows, maybe I'll even be able to start saving so I can move out of my parents house again!! :)

Well, that's an update on the life of me. Not so exciting, but it's my life, and I'm loving (almost) every second of it ;)
