Preston turned 20 yesterday! I have been planning a day full of surprises for him for the last three weeks! For starters, Jaci requested the day off for him at work so he would be free for the WHOLE day! It is a rare occasion lately when him and I get to spend a full day together, so this was really special. I arranged to be off work at 10, so Jaci and Amanda woke him up with a nice big breakfast and got him out of bed and made him shower and be ready for me to pick him up. I arrived around 11:30 (running late, as always) and we were off. He had no idea where we were going, but he was such a good sport about it. I drove down to Seattle and we spent the afternoon at Pike Place Market, had lunch on the pier, visited a little candy shop and indulged in some sweets (our favorite!), and window shopped at the market.

It was so special for us to just spend the day together and enjoy eachothers' company. There were a couple little arguments (he wanted to navigate for me using my iPhone, but I didn't want him to for fear of future party guests texting me and the whole surprise being blown)! Luckily, Jaci and Tami (Preston's momma) were back home holding the fort down and taking care of business.
This is us in front of the market :)
I was trying to leave Seattle around 4 to get back in time for his surprise party at 6:30, but it was difficult to do without having a reason for leaving so early! We got stuck in traffic and I was SO frustrated - poor guy was very confused. We arrived in Sudden Valley a little after 7 to a group of over 30 people who came out and showed Preston some love ♥
Preston thought that they were doing serious faces in this picture, hence the serious face :)

So, a huge THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who came and celebrated with us, Preston was so excited to see all of you!
