UPDATE

Time for another update. Where to begin..oh yes. I chopped off all my hair. And when I say all, I mean A.L.L. It's gone. It's the shortest I have ever had it, and sorry to say, I still don't have a picture! Not one worth posting anyways.. I like it though! It still surprises me sometimes when I wake up in the morning, and its like..whoa! Where did it go?! But needless to say, it's wonderful and cute and fabulous. And it takes like..5 seconds to style. I LOVE that part of it ;)

Ok onto other things. Ohhh yes. Surgery. Gotta love that..ok not. I had surgery on my tonsils last week, New Years Eve to be precise. Actually, I had them yanked out, along with my adnoids. Turns out my adnoids were blocking 75% of my nasal passageway. Crazy! What a way to ring in the new year, right?? And let me say this..it was HORRIBLE! I have NEVER been through something so awful and painful! It was my first time going under for surgery. The actual surgery part of it was fine, got the IV in after a couple tries, I was knocked out. Took about 20 minutes to cut em' out, and bam...I'm awake. I went out to my parents house afterwards so my momma could take care of me and nurse me back to health :) After an hour or so, I was in pain. But, my wonderful parents and fabulous boyfriend took great care of me. Then, Friday night rolls around and I'm puking my guts out all night. The evening started with me doped up on Percocet and watching Inglourious Basterds with the parents and Preston, and ended with me in tears, with my face in the toilet, or a bowl, or over the front porch. It was AWFUL. Apparently I had a reaction to the Percocet? So Preston, being the amazing boyfriend that he is rushed to Walgreens and picked up an anti-nausea medicine for me at 2 in the morning :) That worked. Until 2 days later when I had ANOTHER reaction to that medicine, which caused my tongue and throat to swell up, leading to difficulty breathing, leading to an evening visit to the ER with me in a panic. They rushed me in, hooked me up to an IV with some drugs to calm me down, ease the swelling, and give me some fluids since I wasn't eating or drinking, and then I passed out. I woke up once again surrounded by my amazing family and boyfriend. After awhile, they let me go home, and I was fine. Since then, the scabs on my throat have fallen off and began to heal. It's been quite a bumpy road, a road that I am SO thankful I don't have to go down EVER again! And, on the bright side, hopefully I'll be feeling better and not getting sick as often! At this point, I'm still pretty sore and finally starting to eat somewhat substantial food. I spend my days in bed for the most part, resting up and preparing for school and work next week. Today was my first day up and about for a little bit, and that was nice. Ok enough of that.

Monday I start school! Surprisingly, I'm kind of excited! After a week and a half of being on my back, I'm ready to get up and take on another quarter at good ol' WCC. 20 credits this time-but I'm ready for it. I've spent this weekend catching up on homework that I've missed from the first week, and it's been fairly reasonable. It is only the first week however, so I don't want to speak too soon!

Ok thats about it for now, minus the little stresses of being a poor college student. But that's nothing new, right?
