So I've started a blog...

Wow.
I can't believe I haven't started one of these things yet..it's about time! For anyone who decides to read this, bear with me. I haven't ever written anything like a 'blog' before. So here goes..

I'm 21, turned 21 in August. That was fun..but its not really all its cracked up to be. Well, not for me anyways. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a night out every once in awhile, but truth be told, in the 4 months that I've been 21, I've been out like..3 times? I'm more of a home-body, as some might say. Monday thru Friday, I am busy busy busy, with going to school full time, as well as working whenever I'm not in school. So, my nights and weekends are usually packed with either homework, sleep, or spending some quality time with my boy. I'll get on to him later, though :) Now that I'm done with school, (for a month) I can enjoy a little more "me time." I love to spend my free time reading (I've recently indulged myself in the Harry Potter series), watching movies, laying low for the most part, and going out for the occasional drink, now that its legal.

I'm a student at Whatcom Community College, have been for about 3 years. I am ALMOST DONE with the business transfer program, and I hope to transfer to Western in the fall. When winter quarter starts in January, I will be taking on 20 credits. Yikes! I barely survived 15, so I don't know how I'm going to do 20, but hey..I'm determined to get out of there soon. I won't be working anymore, so hopefully it will be somewhat manageable. Prayers are welcome! :)

I have the most fantastic boyfriend ever. His name is Preston, and he is wonderful. He treats me like a queen, and genuinely loves and cares for me. Not to mention, he's very handsome ;) I'm pretty sure I got lucky with this one..don't know why he picked me, but I'm not complaining! He's simply perfect. On the 21st, we will be celebrating our 8 months :) yay us!

Ok well I think thats enough for now..if your reading this, you probably already know me fairly well, so I don't really need to talk too much about who I am, or what I'm about. Now I'm off to finish my book! :)

P.S. I really do love this snow. It makes sitting inside in a warm house so very enjoyable. Now all I need is some hot cocoa to go with my book, and I'll be set for the night! :)
